Q: Does this create a textured wall similar to knock down and is there any specific type of paint that should be used with it??
A: I use this roller for applying joint compound to create a texture. After the compound is dry, I very lightly sand to knock off the points. Then comes primer and top coat of paint.
Q: can this be used to apply thinned down joint compound for a textured look?
A: Hello! The bristles on this brush are very hard. Perfect for texturing the walls and ceiling. Exactly what you expected.
Q: is the inside plastic or cardboard?
A: It is plastic inside. Used it to put joint for texturing on the wall works okay but somebody did not like the texture to much.
